iNope. Apparently you didn't read my earlier posts.
Regarding 'The Passion', I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet. The last movie I saw of his was "Payback", I think.
I'm neither a groupie, nor someone who trusts the flimsiest of news-sources just because I don't share common religious views. Like you.

"3. The Outright Lie: Mel Gibson went on a violent, drunken anti-semitic tirade." So you were there?
OK, forgive me - I was previously posting from a smartphone, and I don't like typing with my thumbs, hence was a bit too brief. Here's what I should have said:
3. (My educated, experienced guess) The Outright Lie: Mel Gibson went on a violent, drunken anti-semitic tirade.
Happy now?

Unless you are Mel Gibson Kennedy.
To: Scarchin
Why would Gibson be 'done'. Most of hollyweird feels exactly the same way. Hell, most of the world feels exactly the same way.
He's saying what Buchanan, Matthews, and assorted other talking heads are thinking.

Having said any number of stupid things after imbibing, I'm afraid I'm not in a position to judge anyone else's inebriated comments!

Did "the Jews" sneak into his car, hold him against his will, and pour liquor down his throat? I doubt it.

I hear you. I have also been "out of control" a bit in my earlier days.
But, I really tend to believe this story. The "sugar tits" is odd though, but the rest seems too real to me. I think I can relate to Mel's frustration and some of his state of mind (unfortunately).
It's too bad if true. I feel for the guy.

He blew a .12 That is like a warm-up at any Hollywood get together, illegal to drive but not smashed at all, barely noticeable actually. True............. to us "veterans" a .12 is just a sniff. If the story is true he had something else in him.

Interesting outlook......Before,in his 30's,Mel was a hard fisted drinker and all of hollywood knew it...They never said he was anti-semitic...AFTER,the Passion Of The Christ,NOW suddenly when he gets drunk he's a jew hater....INTERESTING!!!!!!

I liked the lighter, funnier, Mel than this dark person we're seeing lately, who is making yet another movie in a strange language.Mel has a number of demons, but I think one of them is of the very "pretty boy actor" trying to, for years, to get out of that limited mold. He has been trying to prove that he is more than that. He has succeeded.
I'll never forget him in that movie, "The Man Without a Face" where he was disfigured and living in relative solitude. He was great.
I'm rooting for the guy, but it's possible he has a trecherous character flaw that he just cannot subdue.
I can relate.

True, but that blood alcohol level wouldn't make a man of his size drunk out of his mind. That's very true.

Gibson reveals he used present-day American politics as an inspiration, claiming the government callously plays on the nation's insecurities to maintain power. As if the government doesn't? Real, trumped up, or imagined, this is a common tactic. Everything from gun control to secondhand smoke.
