I agree with that. Countries don't have friends. They have interests. Occasionally the interests of Israel don't match those of the U.S. And no government does everything right. It shouldn't be unspeakable to mention this.

For instance I'm not happy that Israel paid Jonathan Pollard to steal secrets regarding our nuclear targetting and signals intelligence and then traded them to the Soviet Union.
That doesn't make me anti-semitic, just more loyal to my native country than to Israel.
Yes, I have pretty much concluded that all criticism of Israel is anti semitic.

According to recent rabbinical advice, I am Jewish. And no, I am not "self-hating". I also belong to an organization in the Seattle area that could have been a target today.
I would agree that maybe now is the time to tone down criticism of a country that needs all the support it can get.
