I agree. People who carry around the hyphen as some kind of badge of honor should be forced to choose which side of the hyphen they prefer. If it's not America, give them a one-way ticket to that "hyphen" place they prefer.
I'm very proud of my Celtic ancestry, but make no mistake about it - I'm an American and proud to be - my ancestors scratched and clawed their way out of tyranny to make me one and I am forever in their debt.
