Abortion may have passionate support in California, but I think most normal people can distinguish between support for abortion and the idea that parents need to be notified when any kind of medical procedure is performed on their child. I don't think most normal people with even a room temperature IQ would equate the common sense idea that parents need to be involved in their kids' medical care with the notion that somehow that will morph into abortion being banned.
