I'd be curious to know where Sir Peter stood on the issue of Britain's war in the Falklands. It seems to me he would have favored it, and, as such, would realize that nations often go to war to protect their citizens. In the Falklands war, the Brits went to great lengths to liberate that Island from the Junta that ruled Argentina. Today, a direct, unprovoked, sustained, and deadly threat to Israel is being dealt with with as little violence as possible. In fact, some critics fault Israel and the IDF for not using more troops. How this so-called "Sir" Peter can compare that to the Nazis and their murder of innocents is beyond reason and decency.
