I don't think they were right to post the names, either. These people are potential victims, at this point.
The news media have the obligation to confirm the authenticity of the identity of the people they are quoting. Publishing the names at this point I think is wrong. Especially, publishing the names of people who testified to the "I am a Muslim" quote.

I take that back. They're already on the front page of the Seattle Times, local news.
Along with commentary from some of their family and where the family are located.
Unfortunately, it's just impossible to prevent names of victims and other details in an incident this "big" from getting out. I'm certain that they will be offered protection, however.
It's always tough when a nutcase disrupts the lives of innocents.
