Sounds like the Israelis, who have been so good at CQB in urban environments, could use the assistance and advice of the USMC, in particular folks who participated in clearing Fallujah, Iraq, of muslim terrorists in November, 2004.

Alternatively, I'd be surprised if more than a few vets of the battle for Hue City in 1968 would not love to go on over to assist the Israelis. Same degree of difficulty in terms of terrain, except of course there is no Citadel in Lebanon, but far different breed - seasoned, trained NVA versus religious fanatic, often rag-tag, muslim cowards (an oxymoron for sure) who hide behind women and children and seek collateral damage to help themselves in the US MSM.

Just a query, does anyone here know if the Israelis use sniper teams as oversight as our people do? Seems like they were caught off-guard whereas a few sniper teams may have seen the muslims prior to making contact.

"The moment their officers went down," he told The Jerusalem Post Thursday, "the sergeants took their radios and began reporting in and managing the battle, while at the same time taking charge of evacuating the wounded. It was the height of professionalism"

We all knew that sergeants are the REAL warriors! lol
