Someone earlier raised the possibility that he might be suffering from a brain tumor.

It would be a damn shame if it were so.

Yes. I didn't know anything about schizophrenia until a friend was stricken 15 years ago. It's a cruel, cruel disease, and the worst aspect of it is that the sick person doesn't believe he's sick. He thinks he's being tortured by an outside force, and he absolutely refuses to accept any facts that might make him question his delusions. "A Beautiful Mind" was a wrenchingly accurate portrayal of paranoid schizophrenia, though John Nash was an exception in that he actually came to realize that his hallucinations weren't real.

That's a bit of very dark, black humor from the SNL of the 80s. If he truly is sick, I hope he gets well. Until he admits this rhetoric is insane, I will reserve the right to mock him for an (undocumented) tumor in the higher-reasoning sections of his brain.

It is the size of a tangelo.

Anyone wanting to get into the pool, submit your guess (the size of a fruit, sports implement, etc.) right here.
