Hi its me General Armchair again. Isnt the IDF response on the slow, smaller scale than youd expect? You know for a country under missle attack?? I mean if Im running things, Im carpet bombing(indiscriminately), going after Nasallah, dropping MOABs just for fun and impact, piling up hezbooligans.. you now big angry response, problem solving stuff.
Reason I ask is if this becomes full scale with Syria and Iran, I'd hope they have bigger more dramatic plans and weaponry to bring out.
General Armchair out.
Saw another Israeli Captain maintain that the pace is slow because of civilian risk.

The Israeli is about what I (as a lay person, TV watcher) would expect. But Hezbollah is entrenched - in Vietnam we dropped tons of bombs for each North Vietnemise but they had a steady stream of weapons and ammo across from across borders.
Our army is much more mobile and our technology is much better now but we should still take a lesson from this if we take out Iran's nukes - it simply may take boots on the ground.
I also think its time we offer more support to Israel.
Yeah, if they can't pinpoint the launcher a katyusha came from, just moab the whole area. They could make this stop if they had the stones. UN isn't going to do squat except bloviate.
Well Gen. AC I would have followed you back in my GI days and felt good about it. I just never liked half-arsed stuff when it could be done right and permanent. Heck I was even a Gen's aide my last year so I can armchair good.
:-)
