Question is, who DOESN'T want a Pali State. I think if we're to be pragmatic, we need to realize it'll happen at some point. Who wants to occupy them indefintitely. Cut the ties and let them prosper (lol) or suffer on their own.

For me, it isn't a question as to whether I want a Pali state. Personally, I don't care one way or another.
I object to the method they went about trying to create a state of their own. The "Palestinians" are essentially displaced Arabs. They occupied a chunk of land and began terrorist activities. Israel ceded some of their land in order to broker peace. The attacks continue.
If we give in and allow the "Palestinians" -- the real tribe of Palestine, of course, having gone extinct over a millennium ago -- then every extremist Muslim community currently embedded in other nations (in Europe and in America) will step up terrorist and separatist activity, demand their own "state," and thus balkanize many nations. This is the best way for them to meet their objective of world domination. You know, "A house divided" and all that.
