Blair is for a cease fire. Bush would only appear with him if he supported it.
Unless Hezebollah is totally destroyed, the Syrians, Iranians and terrorists win. And they aren't destroyed yet, nor likely to be if there is a cease-fire.

Get a hold of yourself man, no way no how the Hizzies are going away short of an all out war against Iran / Syria, and that is not going to happen (yet)
The best we can hope for is that Israel severely damages the Hizzies militarily in Lebanon. NATO comes in and ENFORCES a demilitarized Lebanon. The rest is up to what clear headed Lebanese are left in that country.

israel hasn't demonstrated they want to go "all in" on this one. and they are prosecuting this war. we can't have Bush/Blair stand out there and say "hezbollah will be pursued until its destroyed", if they know that israel isn't willing to make the commitment needed to do that.
