That's a 5% raise. Will they suddenly become 5% more productive?
Scope out the news on other threads posted about this today. The republicans are trying to link minimum wage increases to tax cuts and the dem have said they will block any pay increase for congress unless we get a minimum wage increase a lot higher then what I propose. Reading the tea leafs in this election year it is a done deal.
Now only if we could get them to put drilling in ANWAR on this as well.
