I don't understand your beef with Michael Strazinsky. We *loved* Babylon 5 in my house. Unlike Star Trek, which ridiculed religion at best and eradicated it as ignorant at worse, it was a way of life and accepted norm on B5. Not only that, B5 was helped out by Harlan Ellison. It had a few shaky episodes but to see Walter Koenig as the insidious Bester was wicked fun.
And he NEVER said "nuclear wessles!"
Im with you. B5 is number two after STTOS!
The odd thing is that JMS is an athiest..

I agree; WHAT is the problem with B5 from a conservative's point of view?
Could it be the scathing denounciations of the parroting lame-stream media? How about the contempt for simpering polititians and adulation of a strong, courageous military standing on principle? Maybe it was the bold stand for freedom against tyranny?
Oh, wait, those are all points we make here daily about real issues. Hmm.
Harlan Ellison is a freaky nut. Straszinski found the home for him - visual ideas, with no control over anything. Ellison is very good at being disturbed.
