The vast majority of sci fi has had a white male as the leading character. Janeway and the black guy in deep space nine are the only exceptions that I can think of.

otherwise it is has been a steady diet of captain kirk, scott blacula, commander adama, captain picard, etc.

The vast majority of villains in Sci-Fi TV and movies are evil right-wing older white males - - often Nazi's or they are evil corporate villains or Evil Government Agents(THE
MATRIX comes to mind) and the majority are played by British actors or actors with English accents !

If that is not ultraleftwing and anti-American, what is ?

The cast of characters(the heroes) are always a rainbow coalition . .

The good guy aliens represent 'oppressed minorities',
the bad guy aliens are invariably Nazis, played by elder white males with some alien prosthetic .

Star Trek is LEFTWING FICTION - -

Canada is a Left-wing country - -

Needles to say, the vast majority of all Canadians Sci-Fi is anti-American - -

from War of the Worlds TV series, to X-files, to Dark Skies, to Millennium , to Total Recall 2070 ~

They are all as anti-American as Hollywood itself,
which by the way is saturated with thousands and thousands of Canadians,
since always !
