"Mr. Castro said more Cubans were reaching 100 thanks to his government's social services."

No, Fidel... They just feel like they are a hundred.

Three weeks before his 80th birthday, Cuban President Fidel Castro has joked that he has no plans to be in power when he is 100 years old.

That is hinting an end to his Presidency? The dude could be around for 20 more years if he has the Morley Safer gene.

I fear that old reprobate will be around for a long time yet. And of course we won't be able to buy a decent cigar legally in this country until after he assumes room temperature...

Can't be soon enough...

In power since 1959, Mr. Castro has so far outlasted nine US presidents.

Outlasted in what way? In terms of longevity as dictator or longevity in life? If its the latter, then Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, and Reagan are all gone ... that makes 5, not 9 ... MSM idiots!

.... and just to get technical about it, G.W. Bush is still around, so it's really 5 out of 10 .......

There is something the old cabron can do that would please me a lot. Recently he said he will drill for oil in the Gulf. I want him to park platforms and drill 26 miles from our coast, outside international water boundaries.

THAT will make the US Senate look like fools and wackos while holding a mirror in front of them. That's what they need done to them to get more supplies on-line.

And a scare. Imagine Cuba getting into the oil business?
