The GOP needs to hear this loud and clear: if you nominate McCain millions of conservatives will stay home or vote for a third party.

Just remember though - its not the GOP that nominates him, its the primary voters. We need to be JUST as motivated and proactive this primary season as we were in the general 2000 and 2004 elections. If we get McCain, it will be our own fault, but even that idiot would be a step better than Hitlery.

Still, I can imagine a lot of conservative voters staying home or voting third party in that case, which makes Hitlery even more likely, and I sure as heck don't want to have to wake up to another 4 or 8 years of "President Clinton".

I beg to differ. McCain's strategy is to get Democrat support in "Open Primary" states to get the nomination. That's one reason he's so upset that the state of Michigan is trying to change their primary back to a closed one. He can't win without Democrat support.
