And what if you didn't "like" him? What if he snuck into your house at night and shaved the cat, stole a dozen socks, each from a different pair, and bribed the local butcher to give you a half pound of beef tongue, no matter what you ordered?

What if he did all these things, but was a great leader? Would you still vote for him?

I had a client, a local meat wholesaler - one day they had a sign up - "Do not deliver any more beef rectums to Mexican restaurants - they are complaining about the quality."

I've gone vegetarian at Mexican restaurants ever since.
