Jeb went from Jeb! to Jeb??##** overnight. Goodbye to 50 plus % approval rating. Incredible.

Until today, I really thought Jeb was an exception to the rule that all politicians are lying scum. My bad.

I like Jeb. Great two-term govenor. I'd vote for him as President in a heart beat. He should probably take sabatical before running...2012 if we lose in 08, or 2016 if we win.

Randall Terry, during that period of time and afterward, made no positive contribution. In fact, he was a hindrance.

Since when does telling uncomfortable truths instead of pandering make one a RINO?

Perhaps you would care to explain why you say that, so that us goobers can understand it.

Amazing - you really thought that until today?
You were posting the same basic stuff yesterday.

Mr. Terry is not what me makes himself out to be. Might I suggest you do a bit of research about Mr. Terry, his actions, and his associations before attaching your credibility to such a man.

What were his actions that you considered a hindrance? "Let me rephrase that: There was no help. No help. Not a single thing that was done to help. He managed to take people who maybe were open to supporting the efforts we were making, and turn them off. I guess you could say that's no help, or a hindrance. You pick which one it is."

I was on Jeb!'s side during the Schiavo debacle. I don't think his analysis of the situation is out of line. Sometimes we have to analyze our tactics and see what works and what doesn't to achieve our goals.

Opposing Randall Terry makes one a RINO?

Then I guess I'm a RINO.

No indication that Jeb has done any such thing. Endorsing a grandstanding nutball like Randall Terry is a sign of irrationality. Opposing him is a sign of sanity.

Jeb's approval ratings aren't going anywhere. The man could run for Senator and have the job as long as he wanted it. I wish he would have ran instead of Harris.

I can tell you that the president of the Senate [King] saved Terri Schiavo's life for more than a year....

A move Jim King called the biggest mistake of his political career.

King said his vote to save Terri Schiavo in 2003 "was probably one of the worst votes that I've ever done."

For Jeb Bush to praise King is deeply disturbing.

Despicable.

So, have there been any polls showing where King and Terry stand at the moment?

I'm thinking that King will get re-elected pretty easily. Terry's just too much of a loose cannon, in my opinion. I don't live in Florida, though, so I have to rely on opinion from there.

I doubt that FR is a good guide to what the voters will do there, frankly.

He is a loyal Bush clan member. Their world view is generally consistent with their fathers and mother's views.

They are liberal on almost all major issues, but duck and cover on them, so as to not be smoked out, and get torched and pitchforked politically. From their profligate big-spending, promotion of multiculturalism, feminism in the military, et al., AWOL or worse positions on many other issues such as immigration, balance of trade, and even some social issues (ever wonder why federal funding for abortions is continuing?) or their underspending on defense deployments? Not restoring the American Military to strategic and tactical predominance (apparently they actually bought into Clinton's/Allbright/Talbott's world view that we should not be a hyperpower, or even a lone superpower.) Hence no actual NMD being deployed. Not for the U.S. mainland from any axis other than North Korea anyways. Leaving the "backdoor" wide open to ship-borne launches of SCUDs or what -have-you.

The litany of failuires: Knifing the Bomber fleet in half, and putting all the eggs in one basket...i.e., one base. Not replacing the lost ASW muscle Clinton killed off. Not replacing the Oilers or Mine-Sweeper capabilities Clinton destroyed. Knifing the U.S. counterforce retaliatory deterrent, the MX and even the Minuteman III,...while Moscow openly scoffs and talks about keeping their SS-18s to 2017. Allowing the surface and submarine fleets to implode, refusing to keep enough production going to sustain industrial capability to ever replace what we are losing. Retiring F-14s w/o a truly capable replacement (F-18 SuperTiger just isn't up to snuff...nor will the F-35) And failing to deploy F-22s in anything like credible number. Failing to deploy THEL is costing Israel dearly right now. Failing to develop the Theater Ballistic Missile Defense. TBM. Failing to deploy a fleet of Aegis dedicated NMD ships. Failing to upgrade the SM-3 missile that Clinton deliberately dumbed-down and forced to be slow and low. Failing to deploy Patriot batteries around the U.S. coastline. Failing to wall off Mexico. Etc. All trivial with the economy we supposedly have. But he won't do it.

All while our industrial infrastructure is bled away to China and the Pacific Rim. China now makes more steel than the next four countries put together....

Let's hear Jeb criticize his brother on any of these issues. If not, you know he will just be another back-stabbing lying phoney RINO.

Randall Terry, during that period of time and afterward, made no positive contribution. Randall Terry tried to foment an armed confrontation between LEOs carrying out the orders Florida's executive and judical branches. He did this during an appearance on Hannity's show.

Hey, he's a Bush. RINOism is in his DNA. Everyone knows that W is the black sheep of the family and even he has his own slight RINO tendencies. This is simply the reality if Jeb. What a loser.
