You know you've stepped over the line when you have a nut like Joe Farah calling you on it. It's entertaining.
This is at least the third time in the last month or so Farah has published a Buchanan column, then ripped him for what he said.

Why aren't they speaking about the bloodshed in Africa while wringing their hands over Lebanon? Because nobody pays any attention to Africa unless some foreign interests or cute animals are threatened.
Not cynical, just the way it is. Somalia has no cute animals, having slaughtered them all, and there are no foreign investments at risk.
Having said that Somalia has been a PITA to it's neighbors for a very long time with their two main exports being bandits and poachers.
If Ethiopia is serious about putting the smack-down on Somalia they will likely be at the least quietly supported by Kenya and Tanzania.

Unfortunately 'Kofi' Buchanan doesn't work since 'Kofi' denotes an individual was born on a Friday in Ghana. Pat Buchanan was born on a Wednesday which means his first name should be 'Kwaku' or a variant thereof..

If Ethiopia really wants to get the "international community" (by which I mean the featherheads that have five page magazine articles written about their wardrobe) on their side then all they have to do is point out that the Somalis are responsible for the endangered state of the Grevy's Zebras, Rhino's and Elephant.
It even has the virtue of being true.
