Not that this batch is all that great, but the decisions coming out of the IRS today are based on laws over a decade old. (Does CFR address religion again?...I didn't think so...)

We'd have to blame congresscritters from back then.

Question: When did the IRS become the Gestapo? Was it during the two terms (1992-2000) of the worst President in history? (Sorry Jimmy, but he easily beat you by at least a mile.)

I recall algore fund raising in Buddhist temples while billyboy philandered his legacy away in public view, and not one conservative pastor seemed able to utter a single word in protest. Ain't amerika great?

No sir. The current batch can change those laws anytime they choose. That they don't is implicit approval.
