This is really bad. Why not give internet control to Hugo Chavez and be done with the damned thing?

I guess we're nearing the days when we can no longer gripe about CENSORED or CENSORED. It'll make us long for the time when we could advocate CENSORED or say nice things about CENSORED. Oh, the irony...
MI: Boy, were you ever right. Disgusting.

"1. That the US government recognises it has to transition its role if it wants to keep the internet in one piece (and it then has to sell that decision to a mindlessly patriotic electorate)"
No bias in this story at all.
Coming soon to a website near you: Censorship - it's not really taking freedom if we're protecting PC groups. :)

Great. Now the rest of the world will get their chance to censor and tax us. Why don't they build their own internet to ruin?

Oh.
"Mindlessly patriotic electorate...."

Internet freedom of speech is now on life support thanks to this. Americans will be subject to the same internet speech regulations as Germans, French, and Austrians.

Here comes the censorship.
Here comes the banning of FreeRepublic.com, ConsumerFreedom.com, infowars.com, and so on. I'm sure that internet censorship will force the entire usenet to be shut down.

I want to really speak my mind on Hillary, but I'm sure I would run afoul even of FreeRepublic.com's terms of service. I'll just say this...Hillary Clinton is a dirty, filthy, disgusting, scum-sucking, bottom-feeding, trashbag liberal, globalist, pinko commie hoe. (That would definitely get me jailed for life in Canada, Germany, and Austria.)
BTW, Hillary is also a no good four-letter-word-that-rhymes-with-runt. :)

Here come the taxes.
We'll probably get annual internet taxes (payable to the FCC in the form of a scannable "FCC Internet License") akin to the BBC TV tax. I would say it's time for another Boston Tea Party, but Boston has already been lost to the far left wing of the New World Order.

I know most of you think Alex Jones is a kook, but he was on the mark when he said that the current "free speech" internet will be priced out of reach of Joe Average, causing the "free speech" internet to disappear and be replaced by the "no free speech" Internet2.
Admit it, guys. Alex was right.
