Allen is speaking TO Bolton in a give and take way, honestly asking for information, not making media-inspired charges. IMO the way a REAL hearing, not a kangeroo court, should be run.

FYI..there's a lot of significance in Sarbanes decision to retire...

He has some major health issues, and that is the main reason. However, he realized that a campaign against Steele would not be a walkover..so he bailed out. Also, since if he was re-elected and then had to retire for health reasons, the governor names the replacement. Indicates that the Dems aren't confident they can beat Erlich. Most importantly, if Sarbanes thought the Dems had a chance of winning the Senate, he'd stick around for the opportunity to run a comittee...But it's no fun being in the minority..So, on balance..it's all positive for the GOP
