Meh... the palistinians don't want peace. They said as much through their elections.

Its exactly the same thing as Lebanon. Terrorist armies within a nation who act on their own, where the people either support, or at least accept them. They won't do anything to rein them in, but won't let anyone else do it either, and also do not want to take any responsibility for them.

Both places have a weak national army that say even if they wanted to reign the terrorists in, it would cause 'civil war' because quite literally half of the population supports terrorists.

This is all admitted, this is all confirmed and out there. Its like theater of the absurd that so many elect to ignore what is right in front of their face.
