Those men who fought in WW2 (including GWB Sr) have more class than any suit in either Washington DC or Hollyweird.
That includes the President.
Bad Language or not.
Well, then they ought to sit down and listen to Jimmie Stewart or Audie Murphy or Glenn Ford or Eddie Arnold describe what they did so that 1st Graders can listen to it. If they were infantryman they no doubt squatted and s*&^ on the trail during patrols; we don't need a demonstration on prime time TV.
My dad, now gone, fought in Europe. First wave at Utah, Battle of Normandy, liberation of Paris, Hurtgen Forest, Battle of the Bulge, occupation of Germany. His unit took over 200% casualties during that time.
His language was routinely as salty, colorful, and profane as it gets, even around us when we were small children during the 50's. There never was a more loving father, nor a more moral man. That's just the way it is, even if some people don't understand.
As long as the language isn't gratuitous in the film, and I really doubt that it is, there shouldn't be a problem.
If there is, bleep out the offending words, but sell the video uncensored.
I meant to add a parallel thought, anyone on this thread who thinks their morality is higher than that of these old guys who fought in WWII ought to rethink that right away.
