Two weeks ago, I sat thru a presentation by one of the heads of robotics research for the DOD. She stated that the US has more robots operating in Iraq now than it has soldiers.

I believe the generation of fighter plane that comes after the F-22 will be a robot or unmanned and flown from the ground.
