They had to poll the "world" because they couldn't get enough Americans to give them the answers they wanted.....
We certainly see a lot of these polls-what the "world" thinks of America,our President,etc. It would be quite revolutionary and novel to see a poll on what most Americans think of the cheese-eating surrender monkeys in France,for instance.
I suppose in a way,we ought to take it as a compliment-that they think it's important what the world thinks of us. Always America. No one cares what the world thinks of,say,New Zealand,LOL. They're obsessed with opinion of America.
