You are absolutely correct about leadership and "vision". As I read your post, I was reminded of Ronald Reagan and his vision. How he lifted all of us up, as we bought into his "vision". Let us hope Mr. Maliki is as successful in selling his vision to the Iraqi people.

You are absolutely correct about leadership and "vision". As I read your post, I was reminded of Ronald Reagan and his vision.

I was thinking about Reagan's vision for strategic missile defense when I wrote that. A vision that will protect us from the likes of North Korea long after Reagan's death. I sure would like to see a leader with vision emerge for 2008, but I don't see any on the horizon just yet. Newt has the brains and sees current event for what they are. I think he could be a good leader, but his flame was extinguished by the Clinton mafia and Newt's own peccadilloes.
