It is often not so easy. Duty and survival, at rare times, do collide.

I never fault a man for his choice when he comes to the fault.

Some stand and die for naught, some "redeploy" and live to see beauty and life, and some freeze - unable to make that most rudimentary of decisions.

Men stand and die for many causes and under many flags.

Our relationship with God has always been centered upon our ability to make that choice.

Right or wrong these diverse men stood their ground in the face of Hell.

God rest their souls and give grace to their families.
