I ave said and stil say that evey alcu member should be hung from the nearest telephone pole or tree. The alcu was founded for the purpose of destroying the United States of America by using the laws of the United States against it. It has never deviated one 1,000,000 of an inch from that goal.

Either the United States as we know it or the alcu will be destroyed. There is no third option.

Given that this is a memorial dedicated, in major part, to dead soldiers and sailors, the demand that it be removed is, by definition, ghoulish.

Each and every judge who ruled favorably on the complaint should not only be removed from the bench, he or she should also be subjected to an intense psychiatric examination, and if possible, restrained from mixing with the general public.

When you have a judiciary that reduces itself to grave robbing and desecration of the dead, it's probably better that we not have a judiciary.

Boy howdy do I share your feelings. I sincerely hope that the Senate acts quickly to protect that memorial. If the aclu doesn't get slapped down the next thing they are going to go after is crosses in cemetaries!

You think they would at least have a decency to leave something as sacred as the veteran memorial alone... What else do they want to destroy this country? I'm sure EVERYONE know by now what ACLU really believe!!! These moonbats need to be exposed for what they are: MAGGOTS of society.

A cross on a hill does not establish a religion. An act by Congress does.

Congress shall pass no law to establish a religion, or limit the free exercise thereof.

So, take that Cross down and you break my Constitution (God given rights) by limiting the free exercise thereof.

They tried this stuff all the time when I was an M.D. in the Army.

It woke my lazy tail up and I realized their goal was to use judges to rewrite the meaning of the Constitution to suit their selfish political goals. Coming from a Catholic school, I did not see the perversions they had infiltrated into the public schools. They now run the public schools.

They hate God and they want to use the schools and the judges to shape the culture to hate God instead of our history of honoring God.

The ACLU and their enablers simply ignore any law that conflicts with their elitist notions, and left wing judges are more than willing to fulfill their every command.

I spent some time up there, it is very beautiful. Even secular people come to reflect. You see people praying, playing an instrument, or talking.

God is at work.

No wonder the ACLU is ticked off. But don't worry, they can't kill God - as much as they want to do so.

I have yet to find the words 'separation of church and state' in my Constitution. The phrase was penned after the Constitution was written. Thomas Jefferson said in a letter written to a Baptist Preacher, "the First Amendment has erected a wall of separation between church and state."

IMHO, I believe that the problem in the day was State run Churches. Jefferson wanted to make sure that the State did not force people to go to one church or the other. He wanted to make sure that we had religious freedoms. That is why the next part of the first Amendment that separates the Church and State, 'or limit the free exercise there of.'

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

Congress can not make me or you go to church, any church. And Congress can not limit the free exercise of religion. Every time a kid is told he can not say God in school or a prayer, the free exercise of religion has been limited. That cross comes down and the Constitution has been made null and void.

The commies best argument for the 'separation of Church and State' is the following:The fact that we became a nation and immediately separated church and state—it has saved us from all the misery that has beset mankind with inquisitions, internecine and civil wars, and other assorted ills.

I'm beginning to hear Tom Jefferson again. What's that Tom? You say, "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." I'm hearing you Tom.

Believers need to band together. All peacefull religions who live in America under the umbrella of free religion, should stand up for their belief or the Commies are gonna come take it away. Laugh if you want, but it is happening. I believe my God gave me free choice and I have no right to take that away from a non believer or another believer (just don't hurt nobody terrorist), and I am glad to live peacefully with others. Others might laugh a lil at me and I might do the same, but I would not take their free choice away. Free choice is the first gift to man and I think it is worth fighting for.

I think the Cross on the hill is worth fighting for. 3000,000 people drive by it everyday and they have the freedom to believe in any God they choose or no God at all. The Cross hurts no one and might even help a few. Take it down and the free exercise of Religion has been limited and the Constitution broken.

And that is worth fighting for (I'm not advokating a Crusade, but if you want we can take a vote on it).

Your Constitution and your freedom means everything. We are fighting for it in Afghanistan and Iraq. Someone needs to fight for it back home.

Sorry to ramble on, but I am so mad I am becoming so I better be quiet 'for I get in trouble again.
