There is a school of thought that says all humans are good. Evil must occur in a state of insanity. I think the replies on this thread speaks volumes.
If it were up to me she'd be relieved of life. I understands the technique cures mental illness as the process runs its course.
Well, that's an interesting school. But, based on this philosophy all criminals are insane and can't be held accountable.
Absolutely. People look at the fact that she systematically murdered 5 children and can't imagine that a mother could do that to her own children unless she was insane. This woman is evil and that is not the same as insane. She knew exactly what she was doing. Just think about the time it must have took to drown 5 children. Look at the fact that she waited until her husband was at work. She was very calculating.
Also her ex-husband is a real piece of work. It's obvious that he has not taken any responsibility for his children being dead. When ever a reporter would ask him about his culpability he would refuse to answer.
also that garbage the Aunt was spewing about him being at the hospital with her making sure she took her medicine and didn't "cheek" it, nurses in the hospital do that, not the spouse.
That school of thought is not at play here. You seem to think that because some think one person might be insane and not responsible that those same people think there is no evil in the world.
I call it a strawman.
