Nor is there any likelihood that Iran or N. Korea can do it.
NK has already demonstrated its capability of hitting US territory (the missile crash on Alaskan soil) and they have nukes. And they can hit South Korea and Japan easily now.
Iran will certainly be capable of hitting Europe soon if they can't already. They have bioweapons and are close to nukes.
Both regimes are headed by ideologues and fanatics who care absolutely nothing about their own populations' welfare, let alone international peace and security. They are both determined to destabilize their regions and regularly pledge their willingness to engage in genocidal war with WMD. NK is a proliferator of WMD and is led by a man of questionable sanity and deviant sexual behavior. Iran is in the grip of Muslim apocalyptic mullahs and the most extreme moon-god ideology ever spewed from their repulsive barracks religion of conquest and enslaving others to their religion.
With all due respect for your military background and service, your complacency here seems too optimistic to me. These threats to international security go far beyond that which so aroused Chruchill's suspicions about Hitler. Or later misgivings about Stalin's intentions.
I guess we'll have to amicably disagree. So I promise I won't call you Mary Sunshine if you don't call me Chicken Little. Deal?

I never said that I wasn't in favor of knocking these others off.
My personal opinion is that we should already have overthrown Iran, and that NK should have been well on it's way to a takedown.
Iran is simply another of the nations that aided and abetted the 9/11 terrorists (al qaeda.)
