Good to see that he was recognized during his lifetime.

Even in his retirement, he "looks like he should look."
Saw Jack Dempsey a few years before he died. He still looked like a man who could go three rounds with anybody.
Same kind of thing with Brashear. He looks like he could have done diving the day the picture was shot.

Cuba Gooding even got his military alignment right. Yeah, his gig line is pretty squared away. Of course, it looks like he had a expert Military Advisor working with him --notice the "Film Crew" embroidered on Brashear's jacket.
I'm sure Master Chief Brashear wasn't going to tolerate anything less than a full attention to detail.

Yep, he's even wearing the collar devices correctly for that particular uniform. Along the straight edge for the washed khaki and aligned in the corners for the dress khaki. Active duty guys still miss that every once in a while.

Even in his retirement, he "looks like he should look." Yep. I've gotten to work with many Master Chiefs and each one of them carries themselves with a bit of salty swagger and an attitude that says, "I made it to the top."
I recently got to see my LCPO put on an anchor with two stars and I felt so much pride for him as I watched the pinning ceremony.
It is really an exclusive club that us enlisted folks can aspire towards.
