The UN peacekeepers on the Lebanese border have turned out to be collaborators with Hezbollah, videotaping the Hezbollah kidnapping of three Israeli soldiers in 2000 and then refusing to release the video — which could have helped in the rescue — on the grounds that it might compromise their "neutrality."

This is the point that the MSM is refusing to cover. Just how did Hezballah manage to occupy its current positions in an among the civilian population and side by side with UN troops unless, horror of horrors, they had the active assistance of the UN command itself? The UN has chosen sides, as simple as that. Islamists can rely on their allies in the UN just as America can anticipate comdemnation.

I had to laugh at the results of the Rome conference today. Another UN force in Lebanon. Their is already one there. The Europeans are full of advice for Israel but when asked to send a NATO force, they reject it. So they're not really serious in wanting to squash Islamofascism and bring a measure of calm to the region.
