Gee, I wonder if the thought of registering illegals to vote ever occurred to La Raza, Mecha, etc........hmmmm. I guess with all the fake ID fraud going on their biggest problem might be figuring out how many names one person could use....for absentee voting maybe?
To: american spirit
They don't have to have any kind of ab ID, only an addreaa that they can receive mail at.

Is that the case in every state or are some like CA more liberal in how they interpret the law (as well as enforcement)?
To: american spirit
I only know sbout Cslifornia. The law here is that it is illegal to ask for an ID even at the polling place.
I'm sure that illegals voting are using the other option, register by mail, request an absentee ballot by mail, and return it by mail. Their signature on the outside of the return envelope just has to match the one that they registered with.

All elections in Oregon are conducted 100% via mail. One never has to appear in person at any stage of any proceedings.

Sometimes I'm just in awe of the sheer stupidity of our (so-called) leaders when it comes to issues like this.......although I believe it's not stupidity at work here just people going about the job of selling out this country.

There isn't a single loyal American conservative I know who is willing to vote for this showboat.

Just when it looked like the Senate Republicans had finally gotten the message that the American people in general, and their own supporters in particular, are outraged over amnesty for illegal aliens, some Republican Senators have come up with yet another disguise for amnesty -- and gotten bipartisan support, including Ted Kennedy and John McCain. One of the "buzzwords" being tossed about on news programs and "talk radio" is the term "tipping point."
I wonder...............when will the "tipping point" be reached where the rank and file "republicans" will decide that they've been had, and will no longer support the party that thrives on "how do we fool them today?"
Probably never......................................

There's no doubt in my mind that "leave the country" means reporting to
the nearest Mexican Embassy, and going back out the door to return to the U.S.
Because the Mexican Embassy is effectively "Mexico", right?
Gad, I hadn't even thought of that.
I am beginning to think that Bill Clinton must be proud of all the
weasels putting forth their various amnesty proposals.
No, wait...he's jealous he didn't dream up the fun and games of
trying to dupe the legal residents of the USA with all sorts of
twisted verbiage.

Thomas Sowell vs the Pence Plan.
And the winner is.....
Thomas Sowell!
Is there an actual Pence bill yet, or is it still "virtual"?

I see the John McCain the snake, is carrying out his latest marching orders from his Mexican masters. This excellent Sowell article was sent to both of my so-called "Senators" Boxer & Feinstein with a note that neither one of them deserve to be in the Senate, because they both have turned their backs on California's (and America's) workers and taxpayers.
All of these no-goods sit in the Senate, at our expense, thinking that they're kings and queens. They need to be ousted, no matter which party they claim to "represent".

This excellent Sowell article was sent to both of my so-called "Senators" Boxer & Feinstein with a note that neither one of them deserve to be in the Senate, because they both have turned their backs on California's (and America's) workers and taxpayers. I believe Sowell mentioned them specifically:
We already have too many Americans with no real commitment
to this country and no willingness to defend it.

bipartisan support, including Ted Kennedy and John McCain... Captain Oldsmobile and The McAiniac do not qualify as 'bipartisan' support.

"Because the Mexican Embassy is effectively "Mexico", right?"That's exactly what I believe an Embassy would be considered, especially in a case like this. An Embassy is considered the "foreign country soverign property", and is safe haven for that country's citizens from the local country in which it is located. The only way to get someone (who doesn't have diplomatic immunity, unless the Embassy refuses to release them).
To: calcowgirl
Boxer and Feinstein are useless.
How many pesos does it take to buy off an American Senator? Can't help but wonder!
