Thanks for the ping!
You're welcome Fedora.
the administration gave up way too early on making the case for the truth here, that the forged documents were planted as a poison pill to discredit what was otherwise a true story.
That's as coherent an explanation as I've seen anywhere.
I would wonder if the Clintons were in on the original set-up for the sale to Libya/Iraq. (And getting a cut of it, too, of course) That would explain the big guns acting on Wilson's wolf cry that Bush/Cheney was out to get him... all distraction while the real story got buried.
But they didn't take Fedora, Sam Hill, Enchante, Clarice and others into account. Heh, heh, heh. Wonder if that's why Hillary's showing off her stone cold breasts today....

Reading Hitchen's entire article is well worth it for anyone who has followed any part of this story.
Would that it had been written in August of 2003. But I guess it has taken this long to uncover all of the diliberate smoke and messy confusion that was manufactured to cover it.
It's only fair to ask now if the Wilsons profited monetarily from the yellowcake purchases that Saddam made...

I think YK went from Niger to Libya for both
Saddam's and Libyas use. Saddam's scientists were there,
so that program wouldn't be found out in Iraq.
Wilson's company worked with French company COGEMA, who got so called oil for food payoffs from Saddam. Cogema ran
Niger YK operations. So we have round robbin effect..
YK to Libya, money from Saddam to Cogema(Joe gets a cut),
Cogema pays Niger. Saddam's and Libya's program has
material. But when Saddam got captured, Libya caved, nuke program went to us, and most is locked up in TN & KY..
Sneaky bastards,Niger, Joe, Saddam, Libya, French, etc.Ed
