I was disappointed in Maliki when he came out and said those things last week and moreso when he reiterated them.

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Syria categorically denied on Tuesday reports saying she owns information about al-Qaeda organization and she is ready to offer them to the US as "baseless", noting "they are but to deform honorable stances of Syria."
The press office of the Ministry of Communication and Technology said in a statement," the news is categorically baseless and these issues have not raised at all during the interview or in any talk of the minister with this news network or any media side."
The office noted that when asking representative of the Sky News network about the subject, he answered in an official statement the "news is baseless and the issue was not part of any statements or debate" adding the network did not put any of these statement on the minister mouth.
" Such lies and deviations enlist in framework of biased bids to deform the Syrian firm and honorable stances," the press office of the ministry said.
Some internet websites published earlier a news item quoted by the French News Agency AFP saying the Sky News attributed to the minister of communication and technology his saying Syria have information about al-Qaeda group and she is ready to extend the data to the United States as well Syria might join as a mediator between the US and Iran.
