McCain ,I guess, doesn't recall Teddy's speeches/comments made during the heyday of the Hanoi Hilton being used to psychologically brutalize the guests of said Hilton.
I think McCain is a very seriously disturbed individual.

In any case, McCain got the best reaction of the night for his Irish joke, which, in a ground-breaking exclusive, is reprinted in full below:
"I have to tell the story of a bar here in New York City. It's almost empty and one guy comes in and he sits down beside another guy at the end of the bar. And he says to him: 'Where are you from?'
'I'm from Ireland.'
'Really? I'm from Ireland too'.
"Great, let me buy you a drink. . .Whereabouts in Ireland are you from?'
'Dublin.'
'I'm from Dublin too.'
'Where did you go to school?'
"I went to St. Mary's.'
'Wow! I went to St. Mary's too. When did you come to America?'
'1970.'
'I don't believe it. I came here in 1970 too'.
And then another guy walks in and says to the bartender, 'What's going on there?'
'And the bartender says, 'Oh, it's just the O'Reilly twins getting drunk again.'"
Perhaps you had to be there.

... and there I was thinking that I couldn't like McCain any less ...
and he opens his mouth again.

"...also voiced ringing praise for Senator Edward Kennedy." If memory serves me correctly, he's also a good buddy of John Kerry's...and in which political party is McCain going run for president?

If it comes down to McCain or Rudy, I'll probably have to take Rudy.
At least Giulianni isn't constantly sucking up to the Libs.

And this is the thing about Rudy:
Many conservatives' probs with him have to do with abortion and gay marriage. But the President's stance on these positions will become less and less critical as the Supreme Court becomes more and more willing to apply the Constitution rather than political agendas.

You're right.
My biggest fear of Rudy is gun control.
Hopefully by then SCOTUS will be in good shape.
