My map shows it directly to the east of the Dead Sea, but doesn't specify boundaries, so I'm not sure how far it extends.

The scriptures also refer to Moab as "the mountains of Moab." It is in fact on the eastern shore of the Dead Sea. I have spent some time in the area.
