I'm sorry to hear that. I enjoyed Mad Ivan. It's a shame we have some FReepers with "issues" on here whose only objectives seem to be to make everyone else as miserable as they are.
I hope Ivan will return eventually.
Ivan was a bellweather I used to see how things were going in England....shame he is gone.
Maybe people here need to realize that screename you are flaming is a living breathing person who has feelings also.
Ivan was a Freeper in good standing....he didn't deserve to be run off by someone who couldn't see past the politics.

Not, true. It wasn't a flame war.
It was a debate on an issue with facts provided (and subsequent statements by British officials recently proves again). If anyone got personal during the debate it was ONLY Madivan who refused to argue the facts and decided to leave.
Flame wars involve hurling insults at the participants.Only one person insulted anyone else. Read for yourself.
Thats just sad. I always looked forward to his posts and his European perspective.
