This is the official editorial position of the paper. The WT is one of the few mainstream conservative publication's that have wholeheartedly supported Simcox and if he knows what's good for him he will listen. If he doesn't then the membership had better get rid of him on its own. The defense of Simcox is taking on cult like proportions and that is very dangerous to any movement.

Lots of fins in the water over this one. Rightfully so, there's so much chum in this story, and the left really hasn't grabbed hold of it yet. I personally think the WT is trying to give Simcox an out to a potentially devastating blow to the border cause. So far stonewalling and delaying is all the WT is getting, so the gloves are coming off.

Overwhelming irony alert.

"The defense of Simcox is taking on cult like proportions and that is very dangerous to any movement."

It's not defense for Simcox per se, it's preparing for the defense of the Declaration Foundation.

Follow the money.
