Bravo Sierra! If 72,125 dead, illegal and repeat voters had voted differently, President Bush would have won PA.
The constant refrain of how a real republican can't get elected here there and everywhere is getting on my nerves. Many have perfected the old commie trick of repeating a lie often enough, it becomes truth.

Let's see how Santorum does. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. No matter how hard you wish and hope, it won't change reality. No Republican can win in my city, period, and we just have to choose the least repugnant of the remaining candidates.
I hope you are right but saying it's so doesn't make it true. It's painful and I may be premature but I don't think any amount of clapping is gonna bring back the magic fairy.
I don't advocate giving up however, I believe we have the force of history on our side and will eventually be able to win in areas closed to us now but choosing the correct battles is central to our eventual success.

On another note, Irey has a chance because of very special circumstances and her election will be a great triumph. She could change some people that would never consider voting for a Republican.

If we could excise Philadelphia somehow, PA would never go D again.
Ok, we might have to send Bucknell U. along with it...

You may prove me wrong yet!! I sure hope this is accurate:
http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/archives/007723.php
If this poll shows an accurate trend, Casey may have already peaked. He still has a slim majority in most polls, but his support looks weak. His "very favorable" rating only amounts to 14%, well below Santorum's 23%. The bulk of his approval numbers shows up as "somewhat favorable" at 42%, putting three-quarters of his support in a somewhat less than enthusiastic light.
The GOP could still hold Santorum's seat -- and if it does, it will be a major blow to Democratic hopes of a takeover in the upper chamber this November.
