Actually, this is a pretty good example of how most of the Irish in Ireland feel. People in this country who tout and cling to their Irish heritage should wake up to the fact for the most part they hate us almost as much as the islamorats. What a shame.

As I mentioned in my post they were on opposite sides of the conflict.

They became rather famous in the U.K. It was a brave thing to do - a catholic and a protestant working together for peace.
