Didn't you leave FR in a huff? Or am I thinking of someone else?

this thread is "Republicans" vs conservative objective Americans, IMO.

Stylistic hint: try to limit the metaphors to one per paragraph. Three in a sentence is a tad excessive.

It's a little embarrassing to think that the author is actually TRYING to be "amusing" here.

In this case, the "author" is also the "poster".

I said right off that President Bush needs a slap...for all the reasons in your post #102.

That doesn't mean he deserves lack of respect when addressing him.

And when you consider who the alternative would have been in 00 and 04, you should light a candle in front of the Baby Jesus Sacred Heart that it's him leading us right now.

"It ranks right up there with the ones pointing out the "rules" in the Ann Coulter posts."

As one of the writers of the Ann Coulter "Rules" I can safely say it was not to fit in but to see more pictures on Ann Coulter posted.

Same for Anna Kournikova rules, and reading your post as well as this one that this is now officially both an Anna Kournikova and Ann Coulter thread and thusly the "rules" are now in effect.

Murtha was a war vet, Cunningham a war hero, McCain a POW, and you have a '97 signup date. Didn't prevent them from eventually committing shameful or embarrassing acts, and hasn't prevented you from apparently turning into an unhinged kook. You may have some good points, but this article is so over the top and drama queenish as to be a farce.

Perhaps you should change your name from 'firehat' to 'a$$hat'.

"And when you consider who the alternative would have been in 00 and 04, you should light a candle in front of the Baby Jesus Sacred Heart that it's him leading us right now."

True. But its pretty sad it came down to that choice.

As for referring to him by name "Bush" its no more disrespectful than referring to ANY President by their last names - which we do constantly. They're not emperors in an imperial state and we don't have to constantly preceed their last names with a title. Never have in the past.

The last time I checked this was a Democracy, and we could call the president anything we wanted to - and others often choose to use far more "rough" terms than the man's last name.

I think SOME people, like the guy who referred to me as an "A$$HOLE", are getting a little unduly sensitive. I think such people are correctly termed "Bushbots".

Also, I'm hopelessly liberal on immigration too.

I just don't like illegal invaders.

Oh for crying out loud! Both sides are wrong!!!

"Pot calling kettle. Come in kettle. Over.

Kettle here, pot. Over.

Pot to kettle. You are black. Say again, you are black. That is all. Pot out."

We are moments away from Armageddon and Bush has OD’d on compassion. America is in a holding pattern while the administration waits for some Arab fanatic to light the fuse for the unthinkable.

I guess this is the part where I'm suppose to slit my wrists since we are all DOOMED, huh?

It seems the 'Axis of Kooks' is also beginning to emerge, here on the FR front.

LOL.
