Montenegro has fewer than 700,000 people, a tormented history, and plenty of challenges. But it also has magnificent assets: beautiful mountains and beaches, and basic amity between its Slav Orthodox majority and its Muslim Slav and Albanian minorities. "basic amity between its Slav Orthodox majority and its Muslim Slav and Albanian minorities"
It would be hilarious if it were not so sad.
Both of the latter voted overwhelmingly, in a May referendum, for the country's exit from its dysfunctional marriage with Serbia, which dated back to the end of the First World War.
Because they know that they will own the land of Montenegro after they force Christians to flee to Serbia. Another European Muslim statelet in the making.

I do think the comparison with Iraq is worthwhile. He says the follow the same model. To those who say Iraq is a mess, I would counter that it is a lot farther along than Yugoslovia in a lot less time.

I find it regrettable that a Jewish writer (Stephen Schwartz) is more disposed towards various jihadists in the Blakans then towards Orthodox Serbs, given that Islamic jihadists are rocketting his (real or spiritual) homeland as we speak.
As for Montenegro, it is a parasitic and an outllaw country that has been living off of Serbia for too long. If anything they did Serbs a favor.
