How long does it take for a child to step on a mirror? 2 seconds? Maybe the mom looked away for 5 WHOLE seconds and completely missed it. She should be hung.

Now, IF we were to find out that the child was pulling on the mirror or banging it and the mother didn't notice, I would find the mother to be a problem.
