When my oldest was about 8 I got so frustrated about her roaming out of my view in a mall, I took the belt off my coat and tied it to her. She was humiliated, but she didn't pull that stunt again. My girls were kept in carts and had adult supervision and still acted up. Geez...kids.
BTW, a lady stopped my daughter at Kroger's the other day to remark on what wonderful children she had...LOL, if she only knew.
I've made the same sort of comments in supermarkets, so I suspect she did know...I assume I always do, so I like to see someone feel their work has been worthwhile!
