That came from a post about the Mom not keeping the child from wandering 5 feet away. My kids weren't allowed to do that. When I had to defend keeping my kids by me, I said they were obedient. It escalated from there.

The child may have been perfect, obedient little angel standing out of mom's way, like she asked, while she tried to wrestle a comforter from the shelf and into the cart.
