That's good. No doubt the Paks will simply use their nukes to try to intimidate you into giving them money and hard goods for their own national development.
Apparantly you haven't thought through this "nuclear exchange between Pakistan and India" business. The trick is if you fire and they don't you die anyway due to fallout. The other trick is if they fire and you don't, you die, and so do they.
The best use of nukes is against people half a world away ~ not the guys next door.

Pakis have no use for hard goods or national development. They are Muslims for God sake. They only want Kashmir and then the rest of India, minus the Hindus.

Lucky for you. We don't really deserve to have Pakistan as our neighbour. Nobody does. But then you cant choose your neighbours or your enemies. So we just make a lot more nukes then them so that we can wipe them out completely before then can do much damage, if it has to come to pushing the button. Anyways our economy can afford a nuclear arms race, their's cant.
