Without lawyers, the laws would be reasonably written, easily interpreted, and a high school graduate could defend himself from any charge. Of course with lawyers and their Whereas and Wherefores and such, we have to pay for an interpreter, to decode the rules the interpreters teachers laid out.

I have had too much contact with IRS personnel, including lawyers. They are unbelievably bad. Getting mixed up with them is like being sent to the gulag.
