We execute people whjo committed crimes as children in this country too. We execute people with mental illnesses that contributed to their crimes.

And we have people in this country who want the government to regulate private sexual behavior between adults.

In Georgia a woman can go to jail for buying a vibrator. What the Iranians are doing is terrible but there are things we can do here to be more consistent with our values also. There is no equivalence between the U.S. and the Iranian law - we try to be more fair and more modern but the problems here are at least something we could start fixing today.

So we agree the situation is not as bad in Georgia. That doesn't change that we do some lesser but similar things to what we are complaining about in Iran and thus I suggest we start here. Between Georgia and Alabama I remember about a dozen cases of the vibrator laws being enforced in the last few years.

I just can't figure out why the libs and the MSM just love islam and muslims but take such a dim view of conservative Baptists. You know, all that stand by your man stuff from a few years ago.
